Trade Leivo, move Pearson down and put the Baer with Bo...
Don't be so picky.
But you see, I don't like Leivo.
He tops my list too. If he could just figure out how to gain zone entry, and not skate into a cluster of defenders, and turn the puck over. But, I am surprisingly unattached to pretty much all 9 or 10 of our bottom 6.
Fair enough but Leivo finds himself in the top 6 more often than not.

I’d like to see Sven, Bo and Jake get a run together
Moi aussi.
Its frightening that JV would be the defensive conscience on a line...
Because Bo doesn't know how to police his own end?
Certainly capable - just tends to be on the ice against either of the opponent's top 2 lines, and plays a lot of minutes comparatively. This leads to him being on the ice for a fair amount of goals against vs. the rest. JV knows if he gets scored on - he will be benched/moved down the line up immediately it seems. Just sayin' he likely will be the one bustin his ass on the backcheck.

If Sutter could do what he is now for 75+ games, that'd be a huge bonus for the team. Can't believe I said that.
Still looks scrawny but seems to have better strength.
It’s not like we haven’t seen it before. Sutter was very good with Dorset, but things turned south because of injuries to both of them. Last season he obviously came back too soon and couldn’t keep up. Now he is healthy again and he is playing well again. He gets too much flack for his play when really it has always been about health.

Last season, Sutter, with Rousel and Jake was the Canuck shut down line and doing a very good job of it until injuries occured.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Sutter has played well in 17/18 and this season. He’s extremely fine boned and frail and withers under a tough game. He isn’t a bad player when he’s healthy but they need to kick his ass out the door at the end of the season regardless of how he does. We will need the space and we need to hope Gaudette has learned enough to take the 3rd line centre role.

“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
This loss stung and tomorrow would be a great time to rotate out some of the depth on the roster. Demko should get a string of games if hes winning as well.
These games happen but nipping bad habits early is important if we want to remain a top team
Jets have had a three day break since they played NJ and only had the one game this week. They will have scouted the Canucks well and be ready for the tired team. So, it would be a good game to throw the lines in a blender and surprise the Jets expectation. See if Sven Bo and Brock still have chemistry. Give Jake a game with Petey and Miller. Put Gaudette between Pearson and Sutter. Drop Leivo down with Beagle and Schaller. And get Eriksson where he can be happy and effective, with a box of popcorn and a couple pints.
