This thread should be called “Meanwhile, on the other side of Pitt Lake, Doyle is passed out face down in the dirt, pants down around his ankles”

I never go to Pitt Lake. I have a half dozen friends with places up there, a least a dozen other people I know up there, two uncles and three cousins up there all with their own cabins and I went up there for the first time in ten years in July with my buddy to see his new crib. Too busy for Hargraves.

I like it but I hate being land locked and you need a 100 K boat to enjoy that place due to the weather and the waves, and a slip to keep it in. That gong show at Reichenbach isn’t for me. I like it but I ain’t rich enough to own or hang up there. There’s definitely something to be said to be able to get to your rec property in an hour though. It takes me five hrs minimum to get to our cabin.

So, Höglander is still suspended. :(

Cannata is still doing great and Björklöven is still in first place in Hockeyallsvenskan.

Hey, Cornuck, do you follow the University of Nebraska in the NCAA?
Tyler Vesel, who captained them in 2017/18 just joined Björklöven!
Scored a goal last night in his first game for them. 8-)

I don't closely follow UNO (Omaha), but keep an eye on it and have made it to one game (to see Brock play). It's a 2- 1/2 hour drive to the area.

These are both outstanding goals. But Hoglander's is particularly impressive because his is dodging a stick check. It almost looks like Svechnikov thought it and did it and Hoglander thought it while he did it.....

Oh sure, NOW he likes Per's thread.

Looks like they're flogging a shirt that has something to do with Hog's Zorro Goal...

Sorry. They are only selling it at the arena, and it’s way down in southern Sweden.
Pretty nice price though. Ten USD for that t-shirt.

And, yeah, it’s to celebrate that ”Zorro goal”. I think you tend to call them lacrosse?
Herr it’s a spillover from floorball though. People who play floorball like to do tricks like that with the ball, and a lot of the kids play several sports, so it has started to happen in hockey to. One of the Granlund brothers scored like that against Russia at the world championships a few years back. The Finns commemorated that with a stamp even...

Adam Tambellini, younger brother of Jeff and son of Steve, is playing for Modo.
Seems to be doing OK. 16 points in 9 games. :o

Joe Cannata is still lights out in the crease for Björklöven.
19 games, 15 wins, 4 losses, 3 SO.
GAA 1.46 and SVS% .944

I think the chef might be onto something regarding similarities between hoggy and Brendan Gallagher. Both are feisty shrimps who have elite hands.

Since hes already playing in the SEL...a jump right to the NHL next year isnt out of the question
