Good thing he had draft table savant Mike Gillis for a predecessor to draft his captain at 9-OA

There sure is a lot of anger and hatred directed at the pride of Vernon, BC.

No surprise, the Hockey Gaud sent down to the farm. He needs to play and it'll be better for us and him long term. I expect him to be even a better player when he comes back.

Until we win anything whatsoever we should probably keep a low profile with the trash talk aimed at successful GMs with multiple stanley cup rings...or is the dude still celebrating those presidents trophies that Mikey Gillis won for him?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 7:59 am There sure is a lot of anger and hatred directed at the pride of Vernon, BC.

I guess once he joined Edmonton he became a natural enemy.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Canucks Young Guns
I've been harping on how overrated Holland is for years, mostly to counter the arguments of the Benning-detractors who held up Holland as some sort of example to be emulated.
To Holland's credit, he fully admits he fluked out on Datsyuk and Zetterberg - in his words, he would have drafted them in the 1st if he'd known how good they'd be. Holland won his Cups in the 2000s on the backs of players drafted in the 80s - Lidstrom and Yzerman.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
That's ok, you can just watch the 3-7 Wings, made up entirely of Holland's players, and you'll figure it out.

Teams go through ebbs and flows. Peaks and valleys.
Maybe there was another skullet tossing that didn’t get reported.
