If said GWG came during the course of play in either regulation or OT then sure, probably.

Congrats on a shootout goal, but frankly scoring in a gimmick where you don't actually have to do much in terms of exercising overall hockey IQ while employing some effort is not a good reason to keep a guy in the lineup when the rest of his game is pretty awful.

a shootout goal does little to erase history
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Agree on Horvat. Line doesn’t work with Leivo, didn’t work with Ferland, and Sutter looks a lot better with Virtanen, so I wouldn’t use him with Bo. Maybe 21. Maybe 88. Maybe Baer or Goldy.
I'm still trying to figure out how Leivo got that gig. as the starter. Green obviously has high regards for him.
Back to back morning games on the weekend. There'll be a plenitude of line combos over that span I'm sure.
Hopefully something strikingly good comes out of it. Wouldn't be a surprise to see both 88 and 21 play at least once each.
Together? Probably. That would be consistent with the way most coaches think. Been skating together in practice......
I'd be more inclined not to do it that way, we'll see.
Edler is skating well so far this year but he's not exactly economical with his point A to point B technique.

4 wins in a row suggests no lineup changes are likely until a loss

think of Leivo as Granlunds replacement.
Every team has that one versatile guy that can play up & down the lineup.
So who would you rather have??

:D :D :D :D

It may be possible to think of Leivo in context of Granlund if they were the least bit comparable, however they are not.

Personally i think Gaudette brings more energy and skill but the experts (NHL coaching staff) are seeing a defensive deficiency that isnt so apparent to my red eyes

He needs to play. Otherwise let him centre the top line in Utica.

He can't sit around anymore. Baertschi looks like he's having a decent time at the farm and seems really into the games
so sent AG down. They have a decent team over there this year so I feel much better about players getting their games in order
then in the past.
Still can't help being curious what the plan is for LE, "The Drifter".

Maybe that's who should be sent down.....

Might expedite being free of him altogether.

They need a veteran presence like Loui in the dressing room to show the young guys how to fist-bump teammates the right way after a win.
