GDT: Canucks at St. Blues Oct 17 5:00 PM Start

Post by 2Fingers »

Canucks kicking ass here and there and it continues tonight.

https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/game/vancouver-c ... _id=121096
The upstart Vancouver Canucks will road test their revamped lineup against the St. Louis Blues Thursday night.

Upstart - Jesus does anyone on TSN or Sportsnet watch hockey west on Ontario, Canucks will show the Blues a thing or 2 tonight. BoHo will finally break the egg and pot in a couple goals. JV, I predicted he would score last game but he was snake bitten again so look to him getting one tonight using his speed and body size.

Oh yeah - the game is on Sportsnet, just like almost every game is except on Saturdays.

Demko with the game winner
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Not that it matters but the Canucks outscored the Blues 13-4 last season.

Maybe this game had something to do with it. That was fun..

This is the first real test of the season. We are on a 3 game roll, and now face the defending champs to start a road trip.....either way it will be interesting.

Best players for the Canucks in that 1st period were Demko and Virtanen,

Worse in that period was Edler.

Funny, some in the media and some fans still can't stop questioning Myers. With Myers and Edler on, the positive metrics are very good. Without Myers, Edler is a negative.

Leivo again. Losing it in the offensive zone again. All momentum lost.

Leivo reminds me of another Canuck with the same death touch... everything dies on his stick

You gotta like how St. Louis sets up their PP

High pressure upfront, to keep shrinking the Canucks' box.

Miller! 2-3!

That first round pick still not worth it?

I find myself yelling, "Fuck off, Leivo!" every time he causes a turnover or makes a WTF decision in the offensive zone. That's 4-5 fuck offs every game.

I still wouldn't want to see Sven in a bottom 6 role, but I would have no problem if he replaced Leivo in the top 6.

It's so nice to shrug off a 2 goal deficit, vs the previous thoughts of turning off the game.

Good to see the boys tested.

Absolute shite PP tonight. Not a single shot in 3 opportunities.

Need a goal but still won't load up. Still won't put Hughes on the first unit.
