A puff piece for Rogers, but the good news is we're halfway through their rights deal!

An interesting sidebar is their breakdown of Toronto's sports radio, which operates in 2-hour chunks. Of course, the quality would improve massively if that happened in Vancouver, but why invest in an improved product, amirite?

Whoa, I kind of missed that post from a few days ago... did something get in dangler's dongle to publicly call out Mod Husker with such a toxic response? Dude's just tryna keep shit under control (as much as I disagree with some of the edits deletions he did to my genuinely funny and entertaining posts )

I don't know if dangles was joking, but that seems slightly over the top, even for this place

Gee, and people have issues whenever the word that sounds like a grape beverage ever gets mentioned.

That's ok Mick, you do you. I don't click on all the shit you post, bro :mex:

What we already knew.
“No other Canadian teams will be featured by HNIC (on CBC) vs. Montreal,” Wilkinson points out, “not even when the Habs are in Edmonton for a Dec. 21, 7 p.m., Saturday game with (Connor) McDavid and the Oilers. Canada’s ‘national’ broadcaster will carry the leaves vs. Detroit instead. Our tax dollars at work, and it leaves a very bad taste.”

In other words, HNIC finds the Canadiens and the Oilers (two Canadian teams that have won a combined 15 Stanley Cups since Toronto held its last parade) less compelling than the leaves playing a U.S. team in rebuild mode.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I knew it!

I just spent quite a bit of time contemplating whether the spinning and smoke was a figment of my imagination or not...
