Does Gaudettes playmaking skills make him a more natural centre than Horvat who plays more like a winger? Those two goals Gaudette set up for Baertschi and McEwan were pure Gretzky brilliance!
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Leivo sure glided under the scrutiny radar this camp considering...

I had an idea somebody loved him when he was practicing with the #1 PP unit a week ago

That 3rd line looks like a black hole for creativity.

So does the 4th. Neither centre looks capable of putting up 10 assists. Like I said, I’m hoping there are other moves coming. You can’t win with nothing but scrubs in the bottom six.

@ThomasDrance
“I didn’t have too many symptoms, maybe a bit the next day,” says Brock Boeser, addressing the media for the first time since entering concussion protocol. “It was more my neck.”
Says he appreciated Chris Tierney teaching out, but still felt like it was a dirty hit.

I'd bump Motte out and move Virtanen to the 4th line.

Josh Leivo - Brandon Sutter - Adam Gaudette
Tim Schaller - Jay Beagle - Jake Virtanen
motte
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Not much of an interview with Green. Just said Sven didn't have a good camp.
Thinks Lievo- Sutter-Virtanen can be a third scoring line.
That's about it,

I have nothing to back this up but I can't help thinking that Gaudette is still here largely due to the desire of the fan base.

Boeser and Ferland were working on face-offs today in practice.
Good idea! Pettersson is a monster and could get waived out from time to time.

Oh Gaud... Leivo has looked horrible this year, last place he should be is the power play...

Gaudette is here because he had a solid summer of training and a great camp and pre-season. He deserves to stay with the big club to start the year.

Gaudette would be our 3rd line C if Benning had been able to trade Sutter.....alas nobody wanted him (I guess they missed where Doc said he's actually not on a bad contract).

Elmer said that Gaudette could be sent down if he's not getting the minutes up here. I'd say there were several hard conversations with players, and a few guys were told that because of poor contracts held by overstayed placeholders there isn't room currently, so please have patience while we try to dump some dead weight to make room for you.

If Adam can play like he did in the pre-season though, I'm sure he will force Benning into sitting or waiving someone else.

WHOA that's quite the ironclad case you have there! Gotta love "Mëds logic".

What if Lord Benning was demanding a two 1st round picks and a 7th in return

... and someone said they first want to make sure he returns to form post-op. :mex:

The rumour is Benning tried to move Sutter... and last year's rumour was teams were inquiring about Mr Sutter.

If you're gonna be a rumourmonger, be an unbiased true-to-yourself rumourmonger!

Have a little self-respect for Gaud's sake...

They need his sheer mass to use for picks and interference?
