The shitty part about pre-season. Fantenburg probably wasn't going to make the team but the guy that ran his head into the glass from behind
is definitely not going to be playing NHL hockey.

Rillette is potted meat, it can be very good, or it can be salt+fat+dog food from a can.

When I worked in the Caribbean, we had an annual regional conference and always had a side theme to it, one year was a local beverage (won by the smoking hot secretary from Hermosillo who brought a phenomenal bottle of tequila from a neighbour's still) another year it was a local potted meat product....everyone lost.

Balut in the Philippines was probably the weirdest I've eaten. Mannish water (goats head soup) a Jamaican staple, was always interesting, sometimes an eyelid with lash attached, sometimes chunks of skin with fur, always curlie q's of brain.
