Re: Training Camp - 2019
Are you fist fucking me?!?!? You not serious with your numbers, are ya???Benning made moves and left himself with less than $5M of space to sign his best winger. If Benning was sitting on $8M of space and Brock was unsigned then yeah. On the player. But to suggest that Boeser and his agent are unjustly holding out at this point when Benning can’t offer more than $4M and change is ludicrous.
If you are, be sure to jump on the SIF bus, and fall off the cliff like the rest of the media lemmings.
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

MCP, didn't you get the memo from Bettman. CapFriendly is the authority on available cap space. Just ask the guys at Canucks Way. And to suggest Benning could use any of the LTIR rules, or regain cap from demoting guys to the AHL "is ludicrous"Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 11:14 amAre you fist fucking me?!?!? What are the rules? I have seen MCP throw a few devastating hip checks. And he's still pretty fast for his age.

My money's on MCP - he's way to cagey for Mëds to even get a shot in.Tciso wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 11:53 amWhat are the rules? I have seen MCP throw a few devastating hip checks. And he's still pretty fast for his age.

Yeah, Canucks could sign Boeser to a $7.3M AAV right now without a trade or putting Roussel on LTIR.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 11:14 amAre you fist fucking me?!?!? Three of the forwards listed on Capfriendly would have to be buried if the season started today if Boeser signed.
(up to $1.075M of buried contracts don't count towards the cap)
And another thing, if we had $10M in cap space sitting there right now, the Boeser camp would be demanding more.
Who knows, Jimmy could have a pending deal on the table to dump a guy like say Schaller
... but doesn't want to pull the trigger until after Boeser signs.
