Same math Hargraves used to "prove Mr Sutter is a "4th line player".
There was no math involved Einstein. It’s just an opinion. Hell if Adam Gaudette improved substantially over the summer, Sutter would be a 4th liner on THIS team once Roussel came back.
Is that just another crap opinion or more Doyle Math? :D
Just common sense.
Wrong.

Common sense dictates that Mr Sutter, at that imaginary point in time, would be a 3rd liner on some other team.

But thanks for coming out Scrubs...

Some other team then... a bottom feeder or a bubble team likely ... thanks for proving my point.

Good teams tend to have cheap players manning the bottom lines .

...and championship teams have better quality depth for their 3rd and 4th liners than entry level scrubs

The issue isnt sutter cause the guy can still play, its looey oen goal eriksson and his giant bag of cinderblocks contract. We couldve sealed Boeser already most likely but we're broke

I'm not so sure of that, Sutter was so mangled for all of last year, and he's gone from averaging one missed game per year to averaging 30+ games lost as a canuck.

Sutter may be closer to retirement than trading.

March 5th, 2019
Following a period of conservative treatment and evaluation, forward Brandon Sutter, in consultation with Canucks medical staff, will undergo surgery to address a sports hernia on his right side. A similar procedure on his left side was carried out in 2015. Sutter's expected recovery timeline is 6-8 weeks.
We'll see. For multiple reasons, he needs a good season.

Eriksson is a different story. maybe if just a little Image Sorry! I'm just joking................really.

Knowing Lunchbucket Green the line up will be?

Ferland Pettersson Boeser (will sign)
Miller Horvat Baertschi
Pearson Sutter Eriksson
Leivo Beagle Virtanen

Goldy - extra forward
Motte - extra forward
Gaudette - Utica
Schaller - who the fuck knows
Roussel - LITR

Still hope he at least tries reversing Ferland and Miller in those spots. Seems to be the talk of the town, but hope to see it
the other way a smidge too.

The D pairings is where Greener will do a ton of exploratory mix and matches, >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>all year.

Gaudette brute forced his way into the regular season lineup, but he'll likely start on wing to learn the 200ft game better and get better on faceoffs slowly but surely.

Goldy is sliding out of favour, might see him moved, doubt he'll want to go to Utica at this point in his career turning 24 next month.

ferland - petey - miller
pearson - horvat - virtanen
baertschi - sutter - gaudette
eriksson - beagle - motte

(IR: boeser, roussel) when Boeser comes back, could see the shocker move Leivo traded, only a year left then UFA.
Motte #13 forward.

goldy and leivo traded
schaller waived, macewen, graovic to utica.

edler-myers
hughes-tanev
benn-stecher
biega (till fantenberg is ok)

(IR: fantenberg)

marky
demko

That just gets us under the cap and don't forget we have injuries to go through all season opening up slots, so hopefully the Canucks can trade goldy/leivo for AHLers who don't require waivers to call up.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Might see Ferland - Petey - Gobby for a game or 2.

Gobby has the second best 'hockey brain' on the team and put up decent numbers (and had decent chemistry) with Peter last year. Perhaps Gobby gets auditioned with Petey while Brock is out. Ups the old trade value
