I think I'd go:

1) Miller-Petey-Brockstar (see if Miller's skill would complement our stars, he's good on draws too, so he can help Petey take some)
2) Pearson-BoHo-Leivo (curious of a line with all Ontario boyz)
3) Ferkland-Sutter-Virtanen (let Ferkland + Jake run around a bit, Sutter can be the defensive stalwart)
4) Eriksson-Beags-Motte (high priced checking line)

- Baercheese, Golds, Rousell (Rousell takes Eriksson's spot when healthy).
- Schaller prob sent to farm. Would be awesome if we can get rid of 1 or 2 of Baer, Schaller, Eriksson.
- Gaudette starts in farm.
- Whoever is hot should get some minutes with Petey-Brock, whether it be Miller, Pearson, Ferkland. Miller should get first chance though as we played a high price to acquire him.

1) Edler-Myers (2 big hombres who eats up some big minutes)
2) Hughes-Tanev (Tanev looks after defensive end for Hughes)
3) Benn-Stecher

- BullDawg, Fatenberg

1) Marky Mark
2) Demko

Didn't you and Wids hook up in St. Pete?

You could say you shared 40 together, eh wot? ;)
I hear Wids will take out her teeth if you load up her on sherry

My starting line-up at this point would be:

Miller Pettersson Boeser (Load up the skill and give them big minutes. They can all handle getting double shifted at times)
Pearson Horvat Sutter (I’d have a shut down line where Horvat takes left side face-offs, Sutter takes right)
Ferland Gaudette Virtanen (Ballz to wallz forechecking line. The team plays better with Gaudette in the line-up)
Baertschi Beagle Leivo (Baertschi can move into Sutter’s spot on the second line when the team needs a goal)
Motte

Roussel (IR) (not worried about fitting him in, by the time he gets back, someone else will be on IR)

MacEwen, Eriksson, Goldobin (KHL?) and Schaller in Utica (I suppose Motte or Leivo could lose a job to one of these guys if they don’t start well, but I don’t see any of the other forwards losing out to any of them)

Tanev Edler
Myers Hughes (I’m with Blob on the top four combinations)
Stecher Benn (Benn better play well with Fantenberg and Juolevi on his heels)

Biega Fantenberg

Rafferty Juolevi (these two start in Utica, but they could be early injury call ups over Biega and Fantenberg if playing well)

Markstrom
Demko

Blob Mckenzie wrote: Mon Aug 19, 2019 6:27 pm I wouldn’t be giving Bo the Lions share of hard matchups. What a waste of a player. If I was Green I wouldn’t be matching lineups like a fiend until I had to.

Ferkland Petey Boeser

Pearson Horvat Miller

Baertschi Gaudette Virtanen

Motte Beagle Sutter

Louie or a kid for 13th forward

Edler Tanev

Hughes Myers

Benn Stecher

Biega
Fantenberg

Marky
Demko

Pin the ears back on the top 9 and let them some fun.
Here are my thoughts,

Miller, petey, brock

I like Miller here cause he’s more of a playmaker which could really work for both petey and brock (2 of the best shooters in the league, imagine miller getting to play with 2 stamkos!).

Ferkland, bo, Pearson

This is gonna be a super heavy line that can skate and hold possession.

Baer, gaudette, sutter

Sutter moves to wing so he can just shoot but also help on faceoffs, Baer can be the creativity, and both sutter and Baer are defensively responsible enough to take on harder matchups

Macewen, beagle, virtanen

I think macewen may push motte out of the lineup (unless motte has made steps to improve his play). Macewen brings a lot more toughness to the team and easing him into the roster on the fourth line I think is worth a shot.

Eriksson and schaller waived, motte press box

On d

Edler and Myers

Tanev and Hughes

Benn and stetcher

Sell tanev when tyramkin returns especially if biega plays like he did last year, and fantanberg looks decent.

My hope is that

Sutter
Eriksson
Baertschi
Schaller

Are nowhere near the starting lineup in October. So I struggle to include them in my starting lineup. Leivo no, not in the top 6. My surprise addition to the starting lineup is Hoglander.

Can’t see Baertschi or Sutter not being on the team if they are healthy.

Team, I would think, have to lose two, or loose two if that's a more apropos term. ;)

I would still rather jake be a power forward and eventual point producer than a checking line role.
He may be fast on guys but that is exactly where he takes the penalties the irk  . and sits him.
Baertschi is saying he's excited about camp and that he feels fine but I don't trust that. (sorry) and hard decisions are necessary
in pro sports. Moving him if he has a really good camp would be the time.

Baertschi yes, but he’s one hard shoulder bump whiplash away from early retirement

Sutter may be here this year but I’m hoping he’s gone by the TDL with one year left on a modified NTC. I’m crossing my fingers Benning moves him out before camp.

Schaller is on his way out

Eriksson - arrrgghhhh. Park him in Utica

I'll try. I don't have a lot of free time but I'm sure when the season starts I'll be more inclined to make time 8-)

Wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on Brexit here:

Work brought me out there short term, stayed 12 years because I liked it there.

On Brexit, I'm not overly interested in arguing about it. Let's just say your thoughts couldn't be more opposite than mine. :?
