But Per, are you expecting four deaths in the final scene?
But is Sarabi Gertrude? It takes more than being Simba's mom to be Gertrude. She needs to be crushing on Scar. For the good of the Pride Lands (of course).
If Billy could have written this:
Rafiki: The sun is rising on a new day on Pride Rock.
Tiki: Simba is ready to come out and play.
Simba: Dad! Daad! Come on, Dad, we gotta go, wake up!
Simba: Sorry!
Simba: Dad? Daad. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad1
Sarabi: {Over Simba's endless noise of “Dad”s, sleepily} Your son.... is awake....
Mufasa: Okay, okay. I'm up. I'm up.
Simba: Yeah!
Mufasa: Look Simba. Everything the light touches is our kingdom.
Simba: Wow

Also you had Vilardi and Glass ahead of Petterson. Do I need to bump those posts again?
2014 - Ritchie
2015 - Konecny
2016 - Tkachuk
2017 - Vilardi
2018 - Dobson
2018 - Wilde
2018 - Wise
Benning’s Picks
2014 - Virtanen
2015 - Boeser
2016 - Juolevi
2017 - Petterson
2018 - Hughes
2018 - Woo
2018 - Madden
Which group would you rather have?

I was ambivalent about Glass and Vilardi but those lists are pretty damn close in quality.
Hague over Lind. Keep McCann and the pick (Debrincat) instead of Dudbranson. Didn’t mind the pickup of Real Dud but I have always maintained the price was a bit high. Once we all saw him play regularly I changed that to the price was way too high.

You have a weird love affair with Hague. He’s not on any of the top 50 NHL affiliated prospects list
Hughes is 8th
Dobson is 18th
Try sticking to the list I made, which group would you take, yours or Bennings?

Hague blew the doors off of Lind and Gadjovich last season but ok I’ll stick to your list. That’s one prospect list that you cherry picked that has Hughes that much higher. Most sensible people would consider these guys a coin flip. Dobson will be an all situations horse. Hughes will never be that guy but he’s more talented offensively.
I might take Elmer’s just because I think the world of Petey. But it’s by the smallest cunt hair.

Simb-let doesn’t run anyone through with his sword, albeit he does pounce his father’s secretary.
Opheli-nala doesn’t commit suicide.
Gertrude/Sarabi has become more virtuous. It’s Disney. You can’t bad mouth the mother. That’s just stepmoms.
They replaced the every-one-dies scene in the end with a bad-guy-dies-and-every-one-else-lives-happily-ever-after scene.
Rosencrantz and Gyldenstern have become a comedy song and dance act and also taken over the travelling theatre parts.
The ghost scene has been moved to a much later stage in the drama and changed meaning.
And I’m pretty sure Yorrick wasn’t an elephant.
But the basics are still there; young prince has his father the king killed by his uncle who then inherits the kingdom and the queen. The prince flees the country, but eventually returns with two new friends to avenge his father’s death. Sort of.
I’m surprised they actually do let both Mustafa and Scar really die. But I guess those two deaths are too important for the plot to do away with.
But just look at what they did to the hunchback of Notre Dame!
In comparisson, I think this is almost closer to the original.

Hmmm... is she Danish? Willie did suggest ”there’s something rotten in the state of Denmark”.
Maybe he was referring to her?
Also, if we assume Timon is Gyldenstern... does she resemble a warthog?

String bean Hague the next coming, lol. It’s so Blobbee writing off Elmers rookies. Time will only tell but something tells me that Lind and Gadjovichs development won’t be as stagnant as Blobbee the Jimmy Hater will have you believeBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 7:18 pmHague blew the doors off of Lind and Gadjovich last season but ok I’ll stick to your list. Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020
The most important picks Benning hit on are petey (number 1 center franchise level player), and brock (number 1 scoring winger). Hughes will be a number 1 dman even with his size, but I think Dobson is gonna be good as well. I know blob doesn’t think Hughes can be a minute muncher, but his skating is probably second best in the league and being able to apply that kind of pressure in breaking out of the dzone and gaining entry into the ozone with position is gonna cause the other team fits.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 6:37 amString bean Hague the next coming, lol.
