Tuna? Your thoughts?
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

From James Mirtle:

William Nylander has produced at a 62-point pace the past two months, about his prior career average. Only Marner, Tavares and Matthews have scored more among leaves forwards. Needed six weeks to get up to speed but has been fine since. Predictable

Willy Nilly has scored just 4 GOALS over that period (25 games).

That's a 12 or 13 goal pace over 82 games.

His 5 assists in the last 3 games playing on Matthews' line has boosted that small sample size of yours.

Hell, my dog could put up as many assists playing on Pigman's wing!

No-contact Nylander is leeching...

No his increased TOI has done that. No one else produces like Nylander on Matthews' wing. Have you noticed?

Well last year the other winger was $2M Hyman who we all know sucks like a hoover.

This year his wingers have been...

- Over The Hill Marleau (39-years-old, Leafland keeps talking about how they may unload his horrific contract)

- Koncussion Kapanen (who has actually been putting up Nylander numbers)

- Slick Johnsson... for just 12 games, in which time he put up 9 points (same point pace as WN, but a WAY higher goal pace)

So yeah, Silly Willy should get no more than Kapanen or Johnsson.

Kapanen or Johnsson probably both get bridge deal at around $3M-per after this season.

Can you see how much Dumbass Dubas overpaid Perimeter Nylander?

So that is the only one of my points you disagree with, good.

Nylander has played most of his carreer on Matthews' wing and is a career .69 pts-per-gm guy with a 19-goal pace

(53 goals in 229 games).

Kapanen on Matthews' line is a .62 points-per-game guy with a 23-goal pace (19 goals in 68 games).

No way Wee Willy deserves more cashola than Kapanen or Johnsson.

($3M each on short-term bridge deals)

Pettersson rookie year has more points than Tavares rookie year.

5th overall pick Petey: 62gp, 27g, 33a, 61pts - .98ppg.

1st overall pick Tavares: 82gp, 24g, 30a, 54pts - .66ppg.

And Petey could very well pass Matthews rookie year pts with 9 games in hand.

1st overall pick Matthews: 82gp, 40g, 29a, 69pts - .84ppg.

& just for fun

1st overall pick McDavid: 45gp, 16g, 32a, 48pts - 1.07ppg

1st overall pick Stamkos: 79gp, 23g, 23a, 46pts - .58ppg

So Petey is basically like a 1st overall pick and doing better than them sans McDavid, but is really close.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
