If you want to go out for a nice evening dinner with the Mrs’ in Powell River where do you go? Tim Horton’s? Ricky’s?

Surprisingly a few good restaurants. The Thai place across from the ferry terminal is fantastic, hole in the wall mexican place is great. Patio at the Lund hotel is a great spot a beer and watching the sunset upon the empire. Roadside joint back towards the boat to Edgemont is good. For special occasions head towards Lund and hit the Laughing Oyster on Okover Sound.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I remember a lot of his hits. I remember at the time thinking he didn’t deserve all the criticism. Seeing them again I’m like, no, he was a head hunter. LOL
The only HW the Canucks need

Not sure about that. Guys started trying to obliterate each other’s knees with those hits

You know what; I can throw up all sorts of greatest hits shit but I find it a shame that the good old hip check is disappearing, only to be
replaced by hitting from behind, targeting the head, mid ice, at high speed.....

.
Almost all guys just pop right back up from hip checks. Hilliard Graves had one that was low, so did Dennis Potvin, (Derlago).
Ballard's wasn't great, a wee bit low.

The hip check was a fantastic tool for defense men. Particularly, along the boards.
His partner would be on board with what he was doing and intercept the desperate pass from the dude getting hit.

Not everything about the game is getting better.

Probably after a night in Shesmelt followed by a party that included Roberts Crack and Bender’ Harder.
