So you did, sorry; DAN. No chance of breaking that one. It would be worse than the old defections.
I did not know till just know there's been one in effect with Sweden. It looks as least as bad.

Ya, ya, they have to make some money. (but it's not real hockey unless it's on NA size ice.

Easy..... EASY... patience is a virtue my friend!

Let him develop over there for 2 years and then start in Van on his ELC in 2021.

That ELC will be a nice thing to have as Petey, Hughes, and Juolevi will just be beginning their 2nd contracts.

2021 is also the Seattle X Draft of course and when LWers Pearson and Baer come off the books.

(Sutter, Edler, and Benn too)

LWer Pod the Bod can slide right in there!

(actually I hope Pearson continues to shine in Van and is extended as well)

And get this: Pod won't require a protection spot in the 2023 Quebec City expansion draft!

Apparently Dude figures he will bolt and come over next year just because. Based on nothing... other than a rumour he heard at the Astoria. He is also bumping his gums that Tryamkin will magically reappear just because. Dude knows his (white) Russians. Surprisingly he is not like the actual Dude and has a wild hair up his ass similar to Walter Sobchack.

Count on Pods here in two years. I’d hate to count on Tryamkin period.
Doc wants Tree to come this summer so he can package him up and send him to Ottawa with Eriksson and a pick.

Canada won’t get another team unless it’s a relocation.

Yeah the NHL isn’t going to 33 teams

The Tryamkin ....sorry Elmer boosters seem pretty jacked about a guy who never seemed to enjoy his time here.

I doubt he ever comes back but I’d love to slam some crow. Either way he was a good pick and a good gamble. I don’t see Chara like some blind fucks do, but maybe a more mobile Hal Gill.

But close!

36 LMFAO. The league already has a bunch of unhealthy teams. Where do you come up with this shit? It’s a gate driven league that’s got a cap as stable as a squirrel with an elephant on his shoulders. It needs a massive market correction. It’s nowher near the BIG 3 in terms of revenue.

Fans already pay way too much for a ticket.

Recent article on where an NHL franchise could happen. I don't agree with the final analysis but the read is decent;

https://www.sportsinsider.com/next-city ... ting-odds/

My own opinion is Quebec City will support a team; A winning team, only. C-
Atlanta? What is this, three strikes? D
Saskatchewan or The Maritimes? Cute idea but; D
Portland is my idea of an almost for sure success. B+. In about 6 to 7 years.
Southern Ontario? Only if it's a relocation from Ottawa.
San Diego? Watch out for low flying aircraft. And, Hey Pedro? Pass the puck!
Just saying, where else would they draw fans from. LA? Ever tried that? Yikes. D
Houston? Would take a few years but ya, quite likely work. C+

Regardless; Never more than 32 teams, at least looking 15-20 years ahead.

The Admission Fees, the league loves. Whats the one after Seattle, a billion?
Relocation may be ugly but is that not a better choice under present some circumstances ?

I think this is a really important point to remember, teams win SC when they have players at different levels on their contracts and having Podz on ELC when the team starts to make waves. realistically this team will hit its prime in about 3 - 4 years from now, EP will be on his first contract after ELC and if he trends like he has in the 1st year it will be a biggy.

The worry with EP is going to be injuries. I reckon Benning is making an effort to surround skinny Petey with bigger players who can maybe ease some of the punishment he takes.

I know if i was running a defensive strategy on a guy like that the plan would be to thump him every chance you get.

Who do they have on the team that can protect?
