Sekera bought out by Edmonton. He would be a perfect addition as a #4/5 LHD who could take Hutton’s minutes. Added bonus is that he’s injured half the season, so he’s perfect for this team. :D

Also sounds like Florida will be getting the Russian duo given they just traded Reimer to the Canes.
Sekera is injured more than Blobbee Rotund is drunk. No thx

Sekera is an upgrade on Hutton, and the canucks will have 5 waivers-exempt defensemen on the farm, plus I suspect woo will get his ten games after camp, as he has very little left to prove in junior for another year.

Plus, Sekera will be cheap, and short-term. I'd totally take him, I'd probably prefer a signing like that to 7 years on Myers.

I really hope they do give Jett the 10 games because that could be a game changer!
Alas; No doubt after the fact. They'll be a crowd.
I hate FA day.

Miller Petterson Boeser
Baertschi Horvat Pearson
Leivo Sutter Virtanen
Schaller Beagle Roussel

Goldobin
Gaudette

Edler Tanev
Myers Hughes

Hoglander will surprise at main camp and make the squad

Still hoping for a Sutter trade to make room for Gaudette

The SHL season begins earlier than the NHL, and Hoglund is committed to his Swedish team, so he won’t even attend training camp.

Nice top line, good second line C but the rest of those forwards are a whole lot of meh. Really need another scorer and hope to catch lightning in a bottle with a couple of Baertschi, Leivo or Pearson as well.

The D looks better. So much of it rests on Hughes being what we all hope he is but it’s definitely better than it was to start last season.

Much of this season also rides on Marky playing his ass off like he did last year - no reason to think he won’t but it’s a possibility.
