Sabres fans seem to want some younger middle six wingers in the trade for Risto.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO
That probably means affordable Jake mm?

See if they’ll take Goldy and a 4th or a prospect.

If Risto is in play thats the piece i think benning should push hard for. I've always seen him as top end talent just waiting to break out. Those flashes of brilliance were as bright as the dudes knob after constable anne drennan was finished with it

And here I called it hyperbole...Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:44 amCalling him a scum bag was tongue in cheek.Per wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:02 amI wouldn't go that far.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 8:57 pm The word is out in Eriksson. He’s a lazy scumbag that would probably be a horrible influence on young players.
He has passed his best before date, sure, but from what I hear he is a great guy who is popular in the locker room, and invites team mates home for dinner, so 'scumbag' does not fit.
Okay I give up, tongue in cheek or hyperbole?

Vegas is trying to move Clarkson's contract. The Sens should be all over that. Clarkson+3rd for a 7th or Future Considerations. This is the kind of deal that can add to the team cap without costing the owner anything.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:39 pmBlob the point of using eriksson to get to the floor is his contract in real dollars lowers the salary cap floor by 3 million. Melynk has no money 3 million is a big deal. I bet they try to get eriksson and backes out of Boston, both contracts after July 1 bonuses are a lot lower real dollar amount compared to actual cap hit.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:31 pm There’s lots of other ways for Ottawa to get to the floor. They don’t have to take on three years of the laziest player in the league. I have my doubts whether he’d be a top six forward in Utica.

Gotta get him before July 1, after that he's only eligible for a 7-year deal.

But I heard he's only waiving for certain cities.
Speculation is it must be cities with low tax brackets.

As a (permanently, it seems) disabled player, could he not choose to undergo treatment and/or recovery in any city he chooses?Strangelove wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 6:48 pm

Not sure why he wouldn't waive for every team then, perhaps the report was wrong.
My brain is mush today, I was drinking like Damonberryman (eh Blob?) last night...
EDIT: Found the source of the report, the list was just a (silly) formality for a trade:

Regarding Mason Ehlers - 0 goals in 21 playoff games making $6 Million over the next 6 years would you trade $1.25 Million Virtanen for him with the Cap at $82 Million?
Jake Virtanen - 6’-1” 226 lbs
Mason Ehlers - 5’-11” 170 lbs
Jake Virtanen - 6’-1” 226 lbs
Mason Ehlers - 5’-11” 170 lbs

I have no idea who Mason Ehlers is but I’d trade Jake Virtanen for Nik Ehlers.

The Jets as reported in the last 24 hours are actively shopping Ehlers. He had a tough season last year and the Jets are not thrilled with him, especially his patented lousy playoff performance.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 6:43 amI have no idea who Mason Ehlers is but I’d trade Jake Virtanen for Nik Ehlers.

I’m told the #Canucks are, indeed, shopping Tanev. His injury history may scare some teams, and his limited no-trade clause (8 teams he can block) further shallows the pool, but he is in play.Matthew Sekeres added,
