Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

As was once said: he’s a blend of Steve Armitage (hard core rinser) and Constable Ann Drennan (hard core sex kitten).

It's just a good test on IQ and endurance/strength ability and a chance to see how serious some of these guys take their workout regime. Can see who is more NHL ready or needs 2-4 years of developing. Or who doesn't give a shit and is just getting by on their skill.
Just another tool to help NHL teams and prospects to prove what they are made out of and capable of & potential.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Ya I think that’s the key. It’s just another tool. I doubt it will change much in the top 2-4 selected, depending upon any given draft year, but may impact the next tier. It will also help in rounds 2-3 sort through some detail. Some GMs it’s all about attitude and character in the interviews more so than the physical stuff.
It’s a chance for kids to raise their stock.

Raphael Lavoie has to be climbing the ranks. Big hard skating, hard nosed right shot who plays both centre and wing. Set the Q playoffs on fire. 6ft 4 200 lbs... he ain’t razor thin

Ya, some people think it's harsh. Too much pressure on kids but what are high school finals? LOLHockey Widow wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 4:22 pm Ya I think that’s the key. It’s just another tool. I think the players dread the physicals more then the chats, (these days), but it is a tool and totally essential.
Not all teams have the same needs and the BPA theory is really up to the team, (GM), after the top few picks, (depending on the quality of
the draft year). Example; Yakapov year, LOL.
It's important too for teams to get a read on time frame for player's potential NHL readiness.

Dubois was a kid that totally impressed Columbus his draft year. Too bad he didn't have the flu that day.
