They both have upside.

Broberg looked great at the J18 Worlds when Sweden spanked Russia in the final. 8-)

This Kakko kid looks good, looking like a star at the worlds. The Devils have a tough decision to make

If Podkozlin falls to us the Canucks should draft him. He is gonna fall because he’s locked in to a 2 year contract with the KHL but the kid is an excellent player who should be drafted top 5. How far he falls who knows. It would be a gift if he falls to us. We are gonna have to wait two years for whoever we draft there anyways.

Yup Kakko looking elite, probably be just as good if not better than Rantanen, 80+ points per season, while beastin' in the playoffs.
Rantanen's contract should be $9M-$10M aav as an aside.

Yup a lot of scouts saying if you got patience for two years, you could be a "powerball winner" here.
Canucks could overpay a 2nd line RW for two years in the meantime till Pods is ready IF he falls to #10.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

SKYO whoever we draft at 10 is gonna take 2-3 years to develop anyways. Or be impactful

I have a feeling one or both of the next two years first rounders are in the table. Elmer either makes playoffs or he gets a footprint in his ass.

Hopefully you're wrong. This 10th OA pick will land a pretty good asset and unless something changes dramatically on that defense, so will next years

This is a good draft class. Next years draft is an excellent draft class. There’s a good chance Vancouver is picking in the top 5 or 10 next year.
