4 of the worst GMs in the last 40 years

I don’t think Frank brings him back if they miss again. Just a hunch on my part

It depends how they miss. If it's a dog fight and they are in it and playing well down to the last week, then I think Jim is safe.

Just another wild Blobbee prediction, nothing to see here
Name me another NHL GM in recent history that has seen his team miss playoffs five straight seasons and didn’t lose his job
Garth Snow, Don Waddell, Doug MacLean, and Mike Milbury.

BTW, most GMs don't last as long as Jimmy already has... let alone the 6 years minimum you're saying he will last.

GMs generally get dumped after a much shorter tenure than that... playoffs or not.

In fact Jimmy has been around longer than 20 of the other 30 present GMs:

Here's hoping Jimmy sets a new record for longest tenured coach in NHL history! :mex:

Well now, how good they were/weren't as GMs has nothing to do with your question now does it. :mex:

I can see this. Just miss with 93 or 94 points or something. I just can’t see him getting an extension with an 80 point season is all.

Or miss while rebuilding and assembling a prospect pool and young player lineup like never before after inheriting Old other Hubbard's cupboard.

Im just saying it’s year 6 and they fluked into the playoffs with an old roster in 2015. 1/6 is likely getting a guy fired. At some point those grubby Italians are going to want results. Me... I’m good missing again next year and hopefully moving up in the lottery. The prospect pool has improved and we know it was in shambles when he got here, but it still needs some major pieces.

This talk of trading the 2020 1st rounder scares the hell out of me

What you say is true to a large degree, Blob, but may I just add the lottery balls highly manipulated by the evil Canuck hating league
computer engrams haven't exactly gone our way.
Ya have to admit a couple of positions here and a number one there and the truck would be smelling like someone just went to

Blob is stressed out because like his prediction for this year’s draft regarding his Canucks he has us as the favourites for Raymond, Byfield and Lafrennierre. Poor Blub.

Anyone listen to Taylor and the Moj show today on 1040? Somebody asked Donny “did you used to drink with Al Davidson down at Trader Vic’s?”

That was me. I know how to ask the questions.
