The way I translate Eriksson's comments to the Swedish press....

"Yes, I would accept a trade out of Vancouver."

Cue Doc with a dancing banana emoji.....

Well I doubt if anyone much around here holds much credence in the Moj on TSN 1040am but he heard that Eriksson was done here
and was going to moved before next season, In the odd case there's anything to that, maybe LE is just helping to shop himself;
Hey, you never know. Pretty sure Travis Green aint going anywhere, so what the hell.

The other rumor is that Boeser will get a long contract but not the Max. 6 yrs. probably.

I wonder if Montreal is an option with the coach there.

I didn't really follow the story that closely, but didn't Benning dislike the Hitmen organisation so much that he kept Virtanen up as a rookie, rather than have him waste a year with the Hitmen?
Can Woo suit up in the AHL?
No
How come?
He's still only 18, need to be 19 by a certain date this year to play in the AHL next year, I think June 1? Really late bday which is a good thing as he's quite developed for being very young for his draft class.

It's either the Canucks or WHL for him next year.
FFS Diehard, we've been through this before with Blob.

He was being purposely obtuse for humour's sake.

Eriksson: 'The coach and I don’t really get on 100 per cent'
Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson admitted to Sweden's HockeySverigethat there is friction in his relationship with head coach Travis Green, and cited that as a reason for his diminished offensive output with the team.
Jamie McLennen rips into Louie for his comments:

My guess is Benning’s public criticism of Eriksson near the end of the season and whatever was said during his exit interview isn’t sitting well with Eriksson and he now has a firm understanding his spot on the team is precarious at best. He has had roughly the same amount of points for three seasons now, so why yap out this summer unless he has been told he is likely to be shipped out unless there is dramatic improvement in his play, and with his NTC being shipped out likely means a trip to Utica (the Gagner treatment). Shooting off his mouth does make it public that he wants a trade, so that might help getting one if anyone is interested, but Eriksson and his agent are going to have to facilitate the move and make it worth Benning’s consideration, otherwise he can show up at camp and try out for a job, likely fail to win one, and be sent to Utica or retire. I don’t think Looch should be worth Benning’s consideration. Where Eriksson and Green don’t see eye to eye, is Eriksson probably still thinks he is a decent NHL player. As a person who was originally happy to see Eriksson signed to play with the Sedins, all that can be said is his thinking is mistaken.

Benning needs to rip this bandaid off and quietly sweep it under the carpet. Something was in the water regarding all the big name 2016 UFA signings and how badly they’ve all turned. The UFA market hasn’t been good to Jimmy. He needs to shut er down in July, stay off the phone. No point talking about what you can get for him, just get rid of him. I really don’t want to see another “hockey trade” and more Schenns and Pearsons, just boot his ass for pucks

“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

If he retires after July 1st we will still have part of his cap for one season since he will be paid his bonus July 1st. Wonder how long the water boy will put up with paying all these salaries once players/ coaches move on.
The only HW the Canucks need

Eriksson will be the catalyst for Aqua if he gets that patented trigger finger going again. That being said, Eriksson should be ashamed of himself for the work he’s done here, or lack thereof, especially with his history of success with other clubs. He needs to look in the mirror instead of blaming the coach

I noticed Per has not yet weighed in on Eriksson's thoughts of his tenure in Vancouver.
Maybe that means nothing happened and was all a misunderstanding. Property? Florida? Low-tide?

Seriously what pisses me off the most isn't about how "he" feels, it's that two other far more important
Canucks are within earshot. Now that's bullshit.

Sorry, been busy emptying my mom's house and have more or less been off the grid for a few days.
I don't think this is a huge deal. So, Eriksson is not happy with the role he plays on the team? Big surprise...
