Taylor and Moj are keeping it real at 1040. They are the best show there. Sandwiched in between two pissing contests - the Halford and Brough/Sekeres and Price
You know who irritates? Perry what’s his nuts on 650. Replace him with Big Daddy

One less media person today - Jason Botchford passed away. He's only a few years older than me, really sad news.
I didn't necessarily agree with everything he said but he was entertaining and certainly served a portion of the fanbase that needed it. Condolences to his family.

RIP Botchford.
He was pretty crazy & out there, but he was passionate about the Canucks.Hockey writer Jason Botchford dies of apparent heart failure
Longtime sports writer and hockey analyst Jason Botchford has died of apparent heart failure, according to a statement from his grieving family.
Botchford, an Ontario native who spent more than a decade covering the Vancouver Canucks, was just 48 years old. He left behind a wife, Katherine, and three children, Sienna, Keira and Hudson.
"The family is heartbroken at his unexpected passing," his loved ones said in a statement.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
I remember arguing with him on Twitter all the time - he once blocked me for a few years because I kept calling him out.
Somehow I was unblocked during this past season - still didn't like his views and he was one of the reasons I stopped listening to 1040 - he was on too much.
Just like Neil McCrae, you either loved or hated his views and opinions, but either way he was an icon in the Vancouver media market.
Tragic news for his wife and three young children.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
He was passionate about the team. There were times I liked him, when he use to travel with the team. That was awesome.
He's shown a whack of different sides throughout the years and I will miss him even if I didn't like what I was hearing.
The guy was great to talk to. Very sad.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
That sucks. I didn't usually agree with him, but, I appreciated that he was a true fan of the team.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!
Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
Terrible news, I'm shocked. How sad for his family and friends.
Botch was a polarizing figure...controversial and opinionated. I liked that...he ripped the Canucks when it was warranted and it was often.
He was always entertaining.
RIP sir.
