Lester Pearson and the Granimal with strong games again, playing like they want to be back. Man, the Granimal showing some soft hands around the net, starting to look like the Granimal that was good enuff to play with the Sedins and almost scored 20. :P

We went from crazy-eyes Raffi 1.0 to one-eyed Raffi 2.0

I'm interested to see how good his gap control will be... considering depth perception and all that.
I think Öhlund did OK...?

Put the kid on the 1st unit now!

Great move by Granny too.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Granlund has over 400 NHL games and is a useful utility player, but Canuck "fans" think he is worthless garbage. SMH.

Yeah, I'd take Granny (and his contract) over Loui any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
You do business on Sundays??

HEATHEN!!
Says the man who suggests we name our players in honour of Norse gods...

Don't ruin the one-eyed jokes we's got going on here, Per! ;)

Few defensemen don't when they are his age.

He can skate, and he can create. He can excite. Otherwise he's not NHL ready. But because of the state of the team he will start the year here next season.

I see him having a Tyson Barrie-like career with more scoring upside.

@BatchHockey
Troy Stecher was visibly very upset when speaking to the media after the game. You can’t tell the guys in that room these games don’t mean anything. Canucks

Green really choked at ineptitude of goal reviews. Doesn't want to hurt team so refused normal post-game.

“Man was there ever. I thought the 1st one, they told me the rule but the whistle was blown pretty early. 2nd goal I didn't like... There's an obvious penalty on Jake.” - Green on some odd goals

Was gonna put it up earlier. Think I was like 11. Guess it's my swan song. No 4 in a row for the team or me, Damnit!

We had an excellent 1st period for the road then came out like garbage in the 2nd.
By the 3rd, Green was double shifting Boeser. He gave all he had including 2 posts.
Petes not having fun now. Looks damn pissed off actually. Don't think he'll drop em but close.
He and Brock are gonna spend a week or so together in the summer and they'll figure out how not
to let stress effect your game. Brock has had to deal with how early on, the refs seem to be your friends but after a few months, NOT.
Funny how that works but it sure looks to be true...

The question I have to ask, what was that group of players doing on the ice with 20 seconds left in the game?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Green was doing what so many have clamoured for all year. Give the kids a chance to develop on the ice right? I had the same question too though, at that point in the game you have to protect the point.
The only HW the Canucks need

Ya, I guess that's an area where Green has to learn to use his time-outs. Edler, Horvat, etc.
Any one's game if you can get to OT.
The other thing was, Marky was gassed.
