Seven goals.
He needs seven goals.
Or preferrably eight.
He needs to get his confidence back. Not that this isn't normal for any first year star and I'm sure his team mates are trying.
I think some one else could be doing a bit more in that regard but he's marginally more than a "greenhorn", himself.
I tend to feel the wrath when I say stuff like that. :sly:

The way ads are targeted these days makes me wonder what you’re searching for, UDL.

I guess I could get pumped for a win... if it actually meant something.

As an asside apparently the Canucks reached out to Dean Lombardi again, and were rebuffed again.
Whats all this?
When Trevor got fired last summer the Italians apparently reached out to Dean Lombardi and he said no to coming in as President. According to Botchford and Sekeres they have inquired once again.

I like the idea of a president coming in, especially an experienced guy like Lombardi or even Kenny Holland. Get that asshat Weisbrod out of the front office and let Elmer learn at the knee of a solid hockey man.

I thought Josh Teves acquitted himself well last night. He has good mobility, good compete level, a quick stick and he can move the puck. The way some of these depth d men are stepping up and playing at damn near minimum wage like Sautner, Schenn, Brisebois and now Teves goes to show you don’t need to piss big $$ on bottom pairing guys “with pedigree” like Luca Sbisa, Derek Pouliott or Erik Gudbranson.

Impressive debut for the kid. Certainly an intelligent young man as well.

Has the ice been gawd awefull the last few games or has everyone forgotten how to tie their skates.

Yes, Pettersson should be a drinking game every time he's on his knees.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Ya, well hey, there's no sugar coating it, he's looked awful the last while, in particular, the last 2.
Big-time lack of confidence which is leading to hesitation, giveaways, indecisiveness to the point of
not figuring out which way he wants to move and falling.
Probably wont get it all figured out with the few games remaining even if a couple of goals come.
The first off season for a new potentially star player is critical...

He looks like he is playing an avoidance game. Perhaps his body has taken enough this season.
The only HW the Canucks need

I think medalling in a major championship on big ice (= World Championships), where he has more space and thus time to think, will help lift his spirits. 8-)
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
