Travis Green in Boston :"Boeser is flying home and will see a specialist. He has gotten better but not over the hump.
He wants to play, we have to make sure he is ready to go. Chance he could be back by the end of the trip." #Canucks

Well I commend then for being cautious.

I kind of wish at this point we had some more muscle in the line up. EP is going to get beaten up by the Bruins in Boston.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

From Joey Kenward

Entering tonight’s game vs @NHLBruins, #Canucks Bo Horvat leads @NHL in face offs taken (380) & face offs won (210). He’s been under 50% in FO’s in just 3 of 16 @Canucks games this season. END..

This is gotta be tough on the guy right now going out just to take a face off then hustle back.
Just being over 50% is freking amazing.

Ya, for sure caution is optimal.

This link is scary but it just shows that seeing a specialist and knowing as much as "is" currently known, is critical.
Talents like Boeser has are not a dime a dozen.

With Sutter and Beagle out for weeks, my concern is Horvat being overused, I mean that Avs game he got 25min! Alex Edler minutes, but when you get overworked you run the risk of injury.

Hopefully Green will use Gaudette and Gaunce a couple extra minutes at center to ease Bo's workload a bit.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Bubbles wants Bo to play wing. I pointed out the situation of Bo's faceoffs last week.

I said he could be a hell of a left winger but by all means please twist around what I said.

Because wingers NEVER take faceoffs, it's never happened and never will.

When the team sends out two centers for an important draw, one of them is completely useless because he doesn't know what to do.

There have been many players in the NHL over the years that have played both centre and wing. Many great players have done this for various reasons. Roster composition, injuries, loading up a line etc. I think most of us old enough watched the Canada Cup in 87 and Mario, Wayne and Dale Hawerchuck played together. All 3 were centre men. Topper is either purposely being obtuse or he doesn’t watch many games.

Some entertaining hockey being played - I for one am really enjoying it, and it’s most unexpected. Still have my doubts it will stay this way the rest of the year but I’m enjoying it while it lasts and hoping it does.

Good on Green for adapting to the players he has, playing a much more offensive style and taking advantage of his good forwards while sheltering his crappy D. I’m not sure you can win in the long run scoring 6 and giving up 5 a game, but it sure is great to watch.

This team is slowly making a believer out of me, and it’s most welcome after the past 5 or so years of crap we’ve had to endure.

To support Blob, not that he needs my support, our own Sutter played wing when he first got here and we were centre heavy. It happens all the time. Does this means Bo should move over, he’ll no. But it does mean it’s an option. He a shoot first sorta guy not a set up guy.
The only HW the Canucks need
