Pettersson tied for 8th in the league in goals at 9 (P. Kane leading with 11).
The only player scoring at a goal-a-game pace!
Pettersson tied for 20th in the league in points at 15 (Rantanen leading with 24).
Strange that he's not racking up the assists as fast, considering he's such an elite playmaker.

It will be interesting to see what this #40 kid can do once he adapts to the North American game.

9 games into the NHL...lol. Um is there room for improvement?
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

No, I get it. You still have to worry about the transition.5thhorseman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:08 amI know, eh! But what gave me hope and made me pick him for my yahoo fantasy league; as a teenager in the SHL, he outscored Kent Nilsson, Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund, Mats Sundin, Patrik Sundström, Håkan Loob, the Sedin twins, Henrik Zetterberg, Tomas Gradin - yeah, every single one who has ever played there. And that in a much tougher era. I mean, Kent Nilsson and Tomas Gradin played against 70's style goalies with skinny pads, relying entirely on instinct. And he outscored them, playing against modern goalies.
That told me he is something else. Something very special.
And frankly, the players I mentioned above did fairly well in the NHL.
Elias Pettersson has the potential to outshine them all.

You can't get assists playing with guys that don't score.5thhorseman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:12 am Pettersson tied for 8th in the league in goals at 9 (P. Kane leading with 11).

Boeser might help ihim mprove that stat!

Being a Canuck fan I’m waiting for Butthead to say there was an irregularity in draft and we have to do a redo.
How did the Canucks get so lucky.

Was out and only saw part of the 1st period, did something happen?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:34 pm I’m glad Schaller, Gudbranson and Roussel are on the team to protect these kids.

I lost count of how many good chances Goldobin missed with Pettersson serving. A rejuvenated Boeser will definitely improve Pettersson's assists.Per wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:41 amYou can't get assists playing with guys that don't score.5thhorseman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:12 am Pettersson tied for 8th in the league in goals at 9 (P. A vicious crosscheck to Boeser’s back that had him down for a minute then hobbled on the bench. Flashes of last year. But he didn’t miss a shift.Reefer2 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 10:17 amWas out and only saw part of the 1st period, did something happen?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:34 pm I’m glad Schaller, Gudbranson and Roussel are on the team to protect these kids.
There a couple of other little things with no response from the team at all.
The only HW the Canucks need
