Steam was coming out of Horvat ears when the Avs scored with him in the box after that weak call. Then he just rifles that pass to Pettersson to tie it up. That pass happened so damn fast it was amazing. What a freakin goal. Great game! The kids are willing this team to success.

The refs let go almost everything the whole night and hence they call a weak penalty with slightly over a minute left. Why are the NHL having four refs when they are mostly blind? The headshots on Baertschi and Stecher, the cross-checks on Boeser and Pettersson. On the other hand, the refs call penalties against Roussel,l just because he is Roussel.

Calvert barely touched Petterson. He was jumping in the air and he gets knocked down pretty easily. But the stickwork on Boeser was cheap. No pushback physically from the so called tough players

Yes, I like Pettersson with Boeser. Boeser plays a heavier game with Pettersson. I’m liking his game right now.

Yes, Green had Virtanen out with Bo at the end. That too could be a good combo.
