Vanek pulling a Vrbata. Doesn't like his linemates so he coasts. Goldobin, still not impressing but signs he can be a good one. His trajectory is similar to Baertschi. Hope we don't give up on him.

Markstrom with one of, if not the one, best game of his career.

But let's all take about Matthews and how great he is.

Classy/tactful move asking Derek to hand Daniel the puck.

Goldy was better in his first game.

Vanek needs to sit out a bit with "soreness" and "bumps n bruises".

Nice goal Edler!

Sedins looking to build on their season now that 1G outta the way.

Marx' best game to date. Now build off it!

Would have liked to see Guddy in there tonite.

MDZ - Oct/Nov - Jekyl/Hyde

Leaves suck.

:D hey Leaves lost :D

I'm feeling kinda :D

Don't see it with Goldy, but one of these days Jake is going to put it all together.
Man I wish he had scored with that short stick. That woulda been highlight of the year stuff.

Some real speed and skill there. If he can do that 3 times a game, maybe he doesn't need to do 2 hits a period anymore.
Boy, Jake looks like a thoroughbred out there sometimes. When he's off to the races, he's hard to stop. With his combination of speed, hitting ability and shot, put your money on #18, he's going to be beaut. If he scored on this rush, it would have made the highlight reel all month. :D

Finally back. Hey Wids: Tough old Mick cried too. Didn't know DD was coming out, wow.

12 pass delayed penalty goal? Fucking awesome. I know it was a blast from the pass but shit, that was cool.

Now to pick on all the mistakes.

Nah: To hell with it! Not tonite! We win. They lose! :rockin:

Markstrom wins this one for the Nucks
Honorable mention to Edler and Granlund.

Hockey Widow posted the team +/- was 0 a couple weeks ago
I looked tonight and we are a -2 and holding a wild card spot.

Vanek has the worst +/- of forwards at -8
Del Zotto the worst Dman at -11
Both showed why tonight.

Best +/- overall is Tanev at +11
Best forward Eriksson +5

Damn it always feels good beating the Laffs :D

Gagner - not sure why some slag him. He works hard

MDZ - you can see why he's bounced around the league. There are two versions of him

Stecher - tough night but he needs to sharpen up

Virtanen - there is beasts mode waiting to bust out. He's still a disaster when away from the puck, still quite lost there

Goldy - you can see the skill there, elite level. Lacks confidence

Vanek - I like this guy

Baertschi -,see MDZ. Two versions

Granlund - lost under Green
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Goldy = wannabe Gagner

Gagner = potential to score eight points in a single game, reality squat - worst of the FA signings.
