Yup, he and Boeser (and Bo) are fun to watch...

BTW how did he get Kessel's old nickname?

Honestly, Phil suits it better!lol But Virtanen has that Big Ass! Hard to say, maybe HW is better suited to judge this one?

They are fun to watch. Boeser is so smart! I really can't wait to see how him and Pettersson work together, both of their Hockey IQ's are off the charts. It is exciting times to be a Canuck fun. Kole Lind with 3 points tonight.

Perfect night for some Pho!

Big Tuna? Jake can't have the same nickname as our smelly friend in the Leaves thread.

Found it...

@sportsnetmurph
Jake Virtanen’s nickname is not Big Country. It’s Big Tuna. It’s from Utica and he’s not sure why

He says he thinks it started as Tunes. Then turned into Tuna. Then Big Tuna. Many guys were yelling it at him post game.
Kessel got the nickname by doing a few commercials for some tuna company...

I dunno. That looked like hip on hip. No trip but maybe interference.

Hmmm. Looked like Zetterberg definetly impeded Markstrom there. I've seen goals called back for a lot less.

Agreed but then I didn't think that was a penalty on Boeser either, I may be biased...

They just look sloppy and tentative tonight. Not their best game for sure. Let's see if they can get inspired and own the third.
