Well, that was a lead. The boys were lucky to have kept that lead as long as they did.

I forgot how dirty Vermette is. That should garner a fine. He won't get one - this is the NHL and this is the Canucks.

Right now I'm picturing you as Billy in Easy Rider to WD's George Hanson (Jack Nicholson).

(Rummy is Wyatt)

(especially the Venusian conversation at the 3 minute mark)

And that's probably how it'd play out too

... a coupla local yokels finally catching up to WD one night... also at the 3 minute mark:

Fuckin' local yokels!!

But I digress, back to the game, HANSEN SCOOOOOORES...

Clearly too many men on the ice. John and John need to move on.

This really is a bad hockey game - needs some excitement. It feels like a pre-season game instead of one with playoff implications.

As I say that we finally get a scrum, I guess some of the players are alive.

Declair looks like he rattled a few vertebrae right there. Nice take down by Bartkowski. Need more net clearing like that.

Vey playing fetch with Etem. I think he likes to see him chase down pucks.

Yeah there's a lack of intensity. I think both teams know it's not worth getting injured for 10th place.

I mean Cam Newton wasn't willing to get injured down six in the Super Bowl...

Horvat has been close a couple times on a couple shots and moves. The stuff of confidence and I hope he keeps it up.

True, it sure is tough to watch though. I've never seen a team miss so many 10 foot passes, the Yotes must be going for some sort of record tonight.

It's getting to the point that I really don't care if this team wins or loses, I just want to watch something exciting.
