Why throw a soft backhand up the middle of the ice? Sbisa should've fired it on the forehand around the wall and hoped it got by the defender. That soft backhand was probably the worst option.

But yeah, 5-on-3 vs that PP with a 20th ranked PK? Lucky to get out of that stretch giving up only 1.

Still odd as to why Virtanen puts himself at quite a distant from his two linemates as they battle for the puck down low along the boards with two opposing players between him. Does he not realize that when the puck comes loose those opposing players hanging outside the scrum will gain control of the puck. I don't get it
