Nice week for the twins!

Now all they need to do is re-sign with the Canucks for $5.5M per this July, till they are 37-38ish, so we won't have to have a year long debate on whether to re-sign them or not. :D

And then they can hopefully add a Cup championship to their impressive list of achievements.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Pear has yet to grasp that North American players give nary a fuck about the Worlds and treat it like a free vacation -- especially since they let pros into the Olympics.

I've seen more intensity in preseason NHL games than I've seen from Canada and USA in the Worlds in the last ten years.

This thread was actually about horses, but, whatever.

And for the record, I'm not into horse races.
As a child I was taught not to play with my food.

But you weren't taught not to eat glue?

Sedins haven't won the Spengler Cup have they? They will probably win it after they retire from the NHL.

The Sedins will be 33 years of age at the drop of the puck next season! Burrows will be 32 but by the time the season is over, 33.

Our first line is getting old.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Age has really nothing to do with it, it is about adjustments. Can they adjust their game to be effective? Some players do and some don't. Just how hockey smart are they?

Selanne and Gomez are two good examples of both.
