Capgeek shows that each of the New Jersey Devils and Winnipeg Jets have only 6 forwards signed to contracts next year and the Phoenix Coyotes and New York Islanders have no NHL goaltenders signed on their rosters, other than the Islanders have Rick Dipietro signed, but he is in the minors.
These could be perfect teams for GMMG to move some of his contracts to, even if just for draft picks.

Luongo and Booth to NYI can help fill the Canucks numerous needs, as they have many assets to deal with.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

What can we reasonably expect? Honest question, as I don't follow the Isles.SKYO wrote:Luongo and Booth to NYI can help fill the Canucks numerous needs, as they have many assets to deal with.

looking for a 3rd line center? npTciso wrote:What can we reasonably expect? Honest question, as I don't follow the Isles.SKYO wrote:Luongo and Booth to NYI can help fill the Canucks numerous needs, as they have many assets to deal with.
Frans Nielsen (A Dane, probably help Jensen and Hansen out!)
Casey Cizikas
Big scoring wingers:
Matt Moulson & Okposo
Great young prospect who wants to be traded?
Nino Niederreiter.
Also a awesome young center in Ryan Strome.
Also they have a superb solid checker on decent contract Matt Martin.
Probably could get the rights to Mark Streit as well, as he's about to become a UFA, and if we trade Edler for help up front, Streit will definately help fill the void of his offensive prowess.
They also have a ton of good young dmen rookies.
