The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Republicans should be very careful here. A future Democratic president could proclaim firearm violence and climate change as national emergencies.
Bit of a difference between building a wall and depriving people of their weapons, don't ya think?
One sparks legal challenges, the other sparks bloody civil war, but by all means continue with the hyperbole...
While using a Declaration of a national emergency to ban guns would probably cause the world to come to an end.
Just the power of the statement invoked by the POTUS that gun violence is in fact a national emergency is probably enough to break the log jam the NRA and it’s whore republican party have so deftly created.
And it would be oh so sweet kharma that the “gun” they put in a Democrat president’s hands was put there by The Donald.
The longer that guy sits in the White House the more I believe that one day kids will be learning about Benedict Arnold and Donald Trump in the same history class
Reality is that since the election late night tv has been a blast to watch. A virtual cavalcade of comedy all over the place.
I'm glad they created an imaginary world for you and yours to live in, one in which The Donald is an impotent loser.
Meanwhile, back in reality...
So... in your world, I guess Trump is a war hero, Trump University is an esteemed institution, Trump Airlines florishes, the Trump casinos are popular resorts and Trump steaks are the best?
And there is a national emergency at the Mexican border?
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
You're sued by 16 states, and what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt.
Bob Mueller, don't you call me, cause I can't go
I owe my presidency to GRU...
We are proud Jewish Millennials tired of living in bondage to leftist politics.
We reject the hypocrisy, anti-Americanism, and anti-Semitism of the rising far-left. Progressives, Democrats, and far too many old-school Jewish organizations take our support for granted.
After all, we’re Jewish, and Jews vote for Democrats.
Until today.
We are determined and we are unafraid to speak for ourselves. As combatants and veterans of the campus wars, we know the threat progressivism poses to Jews. We’ve had front row seats witnessing anti-Semites hide behind the thin veil of anti-Zionism. We know the BDS movement harbors deep hatred not only for Israel, but for Jews.
We’re done standing with supposed Jewish leaders and allegedly supportive Democrats who rationalize, mainstream, and promote our enemies.
We’d rather spend forty years wandering in the desert than belong to a party that welcomes Jew-haters.
Democrat Party's failure to condemn Ilhan Omar's latest anti-Semitic remarks the last straw?
A summary of the Mueller report from the conservative writer David Frum:
Good news, America. Russia helped install your president. But although he owes his job in large part to that help, the president did not conspire or collude with his helpers. He was the beneficiary of a foreign intelligence operation, but not an active participant in that operation. He received the stolen goods, but he did not conspire with the thieves in advance.
This is what Donald Trump’s administration and its enablers in Congress and the media are already calling exoneration. But it offers no reassurance to Americans who cherish the independence and integrity of their political process.
