I've always enjoyed how Per (and his posse of leftist cronies) are willing to accept the reports that evidence against their high and mighty leftwing cause is false, however remain suspicious, or outright reject, reports that vindicate the opposing side.

Not really know what you are talking about...

1) I'm not a leftist, nor do I belong to a posse. My views are rather centrist; one of my core principles is that I am in favour of free trade, which typically tends to be something favoured of parties right of centre, whereas left wing parties tend to prefer short sighted protectionism, mainly because they cater to the trade unions that think that is a good idea. I tend to think of myself of a liberal, but not in the American sense. Many Americans use liberal as a euphemism for socialist, and i am not a socialist. Sweden has two socialist parties in parliament and I have never voted for either of them. But as a Canadian you should know the difference. I think NDP is socialist, right? But the liberals aren't and neither are the BC liberals. I think I may be closer to the BC liberals than the liberal party, but I'm not an expert on Canadian politics, so I'll leave that open.

2) Not being left wing I do not really have a left wing cause that I fight for, albeit as a liberal, I oppose discrimination, and oftentimes left wingers (ie socialists) also oppose discrimination, so in matters regarding eg racism I may end up in bed with left wingers. But not for a left wing cause.

3) After FDR there hasn't been much of a left wing in American politics. Compared to Europe, where pretty much every western democracy has a socialist and a conservative party as the two major players, in the USA there is basically a moderate right wing party, the Democrats, and an extreme right wing party, the Republicans. Mind you, there is of course a smallish socialist fringe with people like Ralph Nader, but they lack significance. In recent years there has been a rise of left wingers within the Democratic party, most notably Bernie Sanders and AOC, but so far they have remained on the outskirts of the party and are not the ones setting policy. That could change over time, but Joe Biden is firmly on the right wing of the party and has many good friends on the Republican side of the aisle.

I tend to reject stuff outright that is copied from or linking to sites that are Russian, run by Chinese sects, neonazis or looney conspiracy theorists. You should not believe anything you read there. Most of it is propaganda and they have a vested interest in undermining democracy in the USA.
But if you have anything from a reliable source - what is it that I (or my "posse" ) have rejected?

Lemmings are pretty cool though. It’s not that they are suicidal, that’s a myth. The thing is they go three or four generations under the snow in winter, and the lemmings you see in spring have never seen a predator. Not even heard their grandparents talk about predators, so they just get out there and think they own the place.







The running off the cliff thing is rare but can happen. They procreate like crazy; they are the staple food of every northern predator - from crows and hermines up to wolverines, wolves and eagles, heck even the bears eat them - at the same time they are solitary animals, like hamsters, so when they become too many, they all get very stressed up, because they each want their own territory, and that sometimes leads to loads of them running away from eachother and occassinally falling or getting pushed off cliffs. It’s not their normal behaviour though, just happens when the area gets too crowded.

But they don’t use chain saws.
