Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Same experience for me. I switched to the Nuck's around 82 after moving closer to the Lower Mainland.

I feel dirty admitting it now, but I loved Darryl Sittler and the scrappy Palmateer back then.

The Habs teams were awesome, but I didn't understand French so I hardly ever turned the dial to French CBC. Very few Canucks games on TV in those days so didn't follow the stick n rink teams too much.

I also pledged allegiance to the hometown team when they went on that magical Cup run. King Richard was my fave.

Had a buddy who still liked the leaves WAY too long - and I never heard the end of it when Sittler got his 10 point night

Fuck I hated Fleetwood Mac. Rumours was everything wrong with pop to 40 in the late seventies.

I liked The Chain, Rhiannon, and Hypnotized.

Oh and for some reason that eludes me... Big Love.
