Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

He was pullin' a damonberry in the Pan Pacific.

I hope damon's not dead too. Crazy dopesick bastard's kind of grown on me.

Careful Rummy, after awhile the begrudgery becomes beguiling.

Although for a bog-jumpin swill-guzzlin drug-fiend… he’s not half-bad!

I guess Cory Monteith's biggest hit was his last one.

Yeah dustin off the old JJ Cale records today. Magnolia is a great tune. RIP Mr. Cale.

Wow

Clyde plays electric bass
Plays it with finesse and grace
Sit on the porch without no shoes
Pickin' the bass and singing the blues.

For years, Clapton couldn't record an album without a JJ Cale song.

and for Skyo

George P Mitchell.

Clyde - that's the first song I ever heard by JJ Cale - I was an instant fan. "Naturally" is a classic album. Cale had a way about him that was unique and simple - often copied but never duplicated. Lots of music personnel have died over the past few years, but really, Cale's passing was the biggest loss for me.
