Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I liked Bo Hopkins and I loved Cat Ballou, so I knew he wasn't in that classic hit movie.

A little research tells me they apparently did a made-for-TV remake 6 years after it came out!

"This pilot was aired the day before NBC aired another pilot also titled Cat Ballou (1971) which starred Jo Ann Harris and Forrest Tucker."

Verrrrrry interesting.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Two memorable roles there, two of the greatest movies ever made. Not a bad legacy. The Bar/lounge scenes in The Shining I can watch those over and over. Love Kubrick. Genius!!

It never gets old. Great movie

BTW Shelley Duvall was never the same after that movie, quite a sad read on her career after making that movie completely spiralled into madness. Apparently Kubrick wasn’t too kind to her during the making of it.
