MLB playoffs

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Is there anything more civilized than cricket tea on a 5 day test?

Lack of attention span is definitely a thing for some folks

Soccer is far more boring than MLB. Playoffs are where it’s at. They’ve implemented a lot of new rules to speed up the game. Could do a bit more but it’s a lot better than it was. Some NFL games are putrid to watch as well. The CFL

Where did you see players sleeping in the dugout?

I’m not forcing you to like it.

Oh damn!

Cuz produces evidence and tosses it in Blob's face.

I wasn't expecting such unprofessionalism though. Imagine if a hockey playing got caught even stifling a yawn on the bench? The media would murder him.

Lol that’s guys horsing around… it isn’t a cardio sport. Neither is golf. But it takes more hand eye coordination to hit a ball off a major league pitcher than anything else done in sports.

Certainly better than watching 20 guys kick a ball around the field and dive around more than Kesler and Burrows.

One of the things i love about baseball is that the game is rarely interrupted by a penalty or a video review. Better flow to the game, even if it
is at a much slower pace.

That Angels/Mariners game last night was incredible

Jays officially out.

Same thing every year in the AL East. That's why baseball is boring.

Jays didn't have a boring team this year. Those kids were a kick to watch. Came down to the last game.
