My Truck...

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I drive a Toyota exclusively right now since we got rid of the Chrysler last year.

We're a one car family right now!

The Toyota has been unbelievably good to us, never had a single problem.

(and I drive like an asshole)

(but I maintain it obsessively)

In fact I'm not sure why I want to let it go in favour of something new.

Must be ego/keeping up with the Jonses, fucking Jonses...

So do we still have auto brokers and what do you guys think of dat dere?

Ego?

You?

There are auto brokers around and I've heard good and bad (like everything I suppose)...never used one.

I have dealt with one dealership and one guy for years so yeah, I'm of little help....unless you want to buy a Merc.

Mercedes!

Butt seriously, do you guys hate the idea of a broker?

I like the idea of figuring out exactly what I want (and I want a lot)

... and then getting the broker to find it for me at the best price possible.

(so I can brag to the Joneses about that)

I want to DESTROY those fucking Jonses!

It's a rat race and I want the Rat Cup.

Kinda like what it's like out here now that corn prices are up (not that I care about other trucks).

Although, the ol' Suburban is leaking a bit of coolant. :/

.....would you consider electric?

Musks Roadster is due in early 2023.

8-)
Well I was considering the hybrid Rav4 for awhile...

But yeahno, I can't bring myself to that.
Just bought the wife a gas rav4. So far she likes it better than her old grocery getter Matrix. She wanted more ground clearance and all wheel drive for winter.

Couple of more weeks for my Tacoma Off Road. Dealer had a longbox SR5 coming in and traded that to another dealer that had my TRD Off Road coming in. If they hadn't swung that deal, I'd be waiting on the 2022's to arrive. Only thing I'm not sure of on my new truck is its an auto. The manual only comes as a TRD Pro and pricing is silly.

Crazy time to be car/truck shopping. I saw used 2019 TRD Off Road for only $2K less mine new with full warranty.

Dealers have no vehicles in stock, what they have coming in is sold before it arrives. it is insane,

Yes...and try and lease them for business.

Sorry but no lever.

What is up dude we have been dealing for years you and I.

I know I know but what few trucks I have I am killing it on.

Can't lease em man...sorry.

EDIT...also...in talking to my personal car guy he adds that on the used side stock is frighteningly low. He says he normally would have 225 used on the lot...

...and has 35.

lots of buyers at the same time as the "just in time" supply chain has collapsed on the manufacturing side.

lease will never work for my business. I can only imagine what they'd say when I bring it back
