The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Has anyone watched it? I just dont know if i can handle that whiney fuck for an entire 90 minutes without someone vouching for it
I watched it and there are no jewfros just dudes talking about how corporate hegemony bought up and bought out renewable energy technology and ran it into the ground as a diversion to keep producing all the usual suspects- oil, gas, steel, heavy industry etc etc
Lefties get their shit in a knot because they think Moore is betraying them and rightie climate change deniers love it because it points out the obvious flaw in renewables- you still have to burn it to produce steam to drive generators. It hardly makes any difference whether you burn gas, wood, coal or Mëds step sister.
Please note my use of rightie rather than cuntservative, my contribution to whirled peas...
So yeah not exactly an exiting movie night with popcorn

Biofuels is slightly better long term than fossil fuels, but short term it’s no significant difference, and at the speed global warming is going, we need fast solutions that make a difference.
What we need to do is focus on solar, wind, geothermal and hydro-energy. Geothermal or district heating for heating, wind, solar and hydro for electricity.
District heating can be a mixed bag, but if you’re using excess heat from industries to heat whole neighbourhoods instead of burning stuff at each individual house, it’s a win-win-win for the industries involved, the house owners and the environment.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
