Muzac For Munsters

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Never knew that Fear was on SNL - let alone that it go this crazy. :D

In October 1981, John Belushi - by this point an ‘SNL’ alumni - lobbied for the show to have Washington, D.C. ,punk band Fear as its musical guest. In an effort to make the performance authentic, the comedian arranged for a group of hardcore fans to be in the studio audience. When Fear launched into their performance, viewers at home got a glimpse of just how explosive their club shows really were. Punks in the audience went wild, flailing their bodies around and breaking studio equipment in the process. When a fan grabbed the mic away from the band and dropped an f-bomb, censors and the network finally cut away. To the surprise of no one, Fear were immediately banned from 'SNL' for life.

For those who don’t know, after Joy Divisions singer offed himself the rest of the band then formed New Order

“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
