Muzac For Munsters

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Did you know that singer Alex Chilton of the Box Tops who penned the famous song The Letter had a much revered band in the 70’s called Big Star?

“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Vancouver talk radio time filler memories.

And we'll be right back with Bannerman after the news at the top of the hour

Critical condition with COVID-19.

That's the way the world goes round

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

'And that was Jack Webster with City Mic. We'll be right back with 'NW news at the top of the hour after this short musical interlude'

Newly released song from Lili Hiatt. John Hiatts daughter. Nice song

This is great - one of the best covers I've heard in a long time.

Doc: "BTW, Donny was right, you're smug."

Neil can't,make up his mind what he believes. he's been all over the map politically and loudly so. We can't forget his right wing libertarian phase in the early eighties, nor his pro war 'anthem' in the early nineties. I like his music but I wish he could keep his yap shut.

"Let's Roll" is pro war? It's a tribute to flight 93, not a call to war.

LOL you're right. I was tricked by the title and the 'crushing satan' stuff ( I had stopped listening to new music years prior and had heard ol' Neil was writing pro war songs which didn't surprise me considering his ever changing political positions).

Anyway he did turn war hawk after 9-11 for a time and he for sure became a sort of anti government, anti union right wing libertarian around the end of the seventies and into the early Reagan years and it really pissed his fan base off. I think he just reacts emotionally to whatever is going on at the moment.
