TV Shows: What are you watching?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

The British make good shows. Broadchurch, Ice Cream Girls, Being Human... I'm even warming up to the BBC version of Wallander, even though at first I found it very confusing to have it set in Sweden, but every one speaking English.

Top of the Lake is supposed to be good too, although I guess that one was made by the Kiwis.

And the hockey season is slowly coming to a start. They've been playing the Europan Trophy roundrobin stage for a couple of weeks already. They do that in the preseason, then have the playoffs during the Xmas break. There's also the Czech Hockey Games going on right now; Russia beat Sweden 2-0 tonight, and the Finns beat the Czechs 4-2. The SHL season starts in two weeks.

I'm enjoying Season 2 of Wilfred on Netflix.

And Per, be careful about posting that damned Euro-hockey shit in the B&G! ;)

A few new programs I checked out this summer...Orange is the New Black. Weeds drama-comedy except with lotsa lesbian action (kinda the opposite of here :eh: ). Netflix.
The Fall. BBC Irish cop serial killer drama with Jillian Anderson. Not bad, not bad at all. Rectify. Only watched a couple of eps but interesting so far. Guy gets out of prison after being on death row for 20 years. Shit building and going to hit fan at some point... of course BB is da bomb of all bombs. Going to a BB Halloween party this year where all have to come as characters....I'm Hector *ding ding ding*
Wilfred is still good for a weekly larf. Dexter is shite. The Newsroom is Aaron Sorkin being Aaron...

I have watched the first three episodes. Pretty good for a Network show. The lead character is fapping hot. Natural beauty, that one. Megan Boone. Oh wow.

We finally broke down and started watching SOA. Just finished Season 5. Great recommendation!
In Okinawa, all Miyagi know two things: hockey and karate.

Not finding much of interest on the small screen, besides Canuck games.

Will give the series 'Better Call Saul' a try in 2014 (long time away - I know). It's gonna be a Breaking Bad spin off.

Billed as a comedy, but expecting it to have a dark side.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

Kid came home from preschool yesterday with a book, "The Greatest Goal" so he and I watched game 8 from '72 last night.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I only watch re-runs of Two and a Half Men before going to bed at 11:30 PM EST.

Two and a Half Men comes on, back-to-back, between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM and so I watch.

That's pretty much the only show I watch. Re-runs of Two and a Half Men.

I also watch the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Seahawks.

I also watch new movies 'On Demand' on weekends.

Other than that, TV pretty much bores me.

I play NHL 14' on Sunday's for a few hours. I create teams via 'Be a GM mode', and then experiment and split test with different styles.

Topper, aren't you like 55 years old or something?

Why do you have a kid in pre-school? (unless it's your grand-kid?).
