The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.
I just came across this thread when poking around looking for enlightenment. I find the world, the natural world so incredible it is impossible for me to believe there is no creator. Who does not benefit from gratitude within for life? How about kindness, charity, not speaking ill of someone, and many others. Life lived with these is better than always being in conflict. Being a Canuck fan is always being in conflict. So is being human and it is our fate to come to terms with our self.
Pain is the great motivator for change. Loss creates pain, pain creates a desire to be rid of it but it leaves on the terms we set inside us.
Just a heads up before the video: never trust any statistics that come out of China.
Especially in this case; they are a dictatorship that actively promotes atheism. If I lived in China and were religious, I probably wouldn’t tell anyone, because it could lead to all kinds of problems. Especially Muslims are rounded up and put in detention camps where they are being reprogrammed. Just saying.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
