Carbon recapture

Re: Carbon recapture
The bigger issue with deforestation is the repeated slash and burn agriculture in tropical climates.
We had a satellite imagery interp done on the area I worked in Belize, The person doing the interp summoned up to explain a N-S lineament that occurred in several of the band widths used for interp. We laughed, it was the Belize Guatemala border. Jungle on the Belize side, slash and burn on the Guate side.
I read this the other day on offsetting your household footprint.

Notably it lists eating steak 3x a week.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

What kinda cut do you think Gomer is eating? Rib Eyes? Chuck Steak? Strip loin? Salisbury Steak? Ham steak? Filet mignon? The people need to know.

Couldn’t find what they based their assumptions on though. They assigned CO2 emissions to a lot of stuff that only uses electricity, and here in Sweden electricity does not cause any CO2 emissions that I’m aware of. I mean, sure the dishwasher may have been produced in China where they burn coal for electricity, and transporting it may have caused some emissions as well, but once it’s installed there shouldn’t be any.

Re: Carbon recapture
I deleted 5 or 6 posts off-topic posts.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the only one of yours I deleted was the one where you complained about all the off-topic posts.
That was my intent at least, I normally would have moved them all but I was in a hurry...

Complained is a strong word.
Commented is more in line.

This mornings insights were particularly excellent.
Whoever stole them can attest I'm sure...even if the weaker minded posters can't handle the truth
Plus they were relevant to this topic. I really am curious as to if it's a factor
