The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

This guy is a Calgary street preacher - and a complete asshole. I always saw him spouting off his bullshit on the street when I worked in downtown Calgary. I hope they deport the fucker. But, on this point, he's right.

That Milf that owns Corduroy in Kits just got shut down for two weeks.
rightly so, although I agree more notice needs to be given the rules are applied to all.
But i would prefer Dr. B and her squad go after the restaurants that are causing issues vs. every one. If Whistler and Big White were problems then shut them down. I went to a local restaurant right before the latest shut down and they followed all the protocols so why are they being punished?

It's not that we're blind, it's that we're not predisposed to believing conspiracy bullshit.
If the lockdown never ends, I'll reconsider.
I had a conversation with an acquaintance in the public health sector about 20 years ago. I was trying to make a simple the simple point that if we could extend life expectancy or reduce risks all the way up to spending 100% of the nation's GDP, we wouldn't do it. Because there's more to life. She stared at me blankly. Public health is everything, right?
It doesn't take a conspiracy to notice that there are tradeoffs in all of the policy & enforcement. There are lines we wouldn't go past to have a marginal risk reduction on something something that isn't going to wipe out the human race (or anything close to that). Our lines are different, but they are there.

UW, a guy like you will have the most to fear in the New Order because you are such a rational thinker.
Russian forces are building to launch an offensive against Ukraine. They're augmenting the substantial army of occupation Russia already has in the east of Ukraine. Russia's 1st & 2nd Army Corps in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts have more tanks than any single European country does.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Has anyone on here been vaccinated yet?
Do you know which one? Do they tell you?
Is this private information and I shouldn’t ask?
I got the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on March 30th. I asked which vaccine I was going to get, when the appointment was booked, and they told me. No side effects. I guess this is one time it's worth it to be older
