Yeah I believe FIFA will only consider natural grass. But didn't Vancouver/BC NDP also eliminate themselves, not wanting to spend the $$?

FIFA basically wanted a blank cheque with all priceeds going to them. NDP said screw you we have $10 day care and low income housing, so no money for FIFA. All the people in Vancouver applauded through the dope smoke.

Really good game between Spain and Portugal right now! Very entertaining!

Hoping the Spaniards will win, as I find Christiano Ronaldo rather intolerable.
Sure, he's a great footballer, but damn is he full of himself. and he plays for Real to boot.

Iceland holds Argentina to a draw! 1-1!

The first world cup game ever for Iceland, but they are tough to play against.
Big strong players who work really hard and follow their system perfectly.
Remember how they eliminated England in the 2016 Euro.
Seems they have their mind set on becoming giant slayers again! :D

Yeah, Germans playing to predictable, too conservative and could not handle the long counter attacks.

Going to be a surprising final 8 I think.

Makes Sweden's group more complicated. :?
Now we definitely need to beat South Korea tomorrow!

Me happy! :drink:

Two more games in the group play, against Germany and Mexico.
We need two draws or one win in those games to move on.

Or well, two draws is water proof.

One win could technically lead to a Mexican standoff; if South Korea loses all three games, Germany beats Sweden and Sweden beats Mexico. In that case there'll be three teams with six points, and who moves on will be decided by goal differential. :|
