These are fucking kids. Don’t just give them away because they are a bit immature
Olli Juolevi shrugs his shoulders
Who gave him away?
You’ve been wanting to trade Olaf for pucks since we bypassed Tkachuk

Strangelove wrote: Mon May 13, 2019 6:03 pm Is it so hard to believe McCann's and Dahlen's attitudes weren't what they should have been?

Why do you prefer to believe they were traded for no reason at all?
Doc

Turn to the nearest and closest wall to you, where you are now and talk to it, you’ll have a better chance of reasoning with it than you would with Blob
Spoken like a guy who thinks the Canucks won the Neely and Vaive trades. Blame it on the kids!!!!
I personally liked the Lever/Smith for Boldirev/Rota trade
Butt have zero comment on the trades I mentioned. Very telling

Jared's play in Vancouver was in a faster decline than Subway Jared's career.

McCaan was rushed into the NHL we all know that. He had a cocky little boy entitlement attitude to go along with his immaturity. Had we left him a year longer in junior he may have been a great surprise for us. We were so desperate for some exciting young players both he and Virtanen were rushed.

There you go! That's it exactly, bang on. The fans and the team wanted to see a Pavel Bure or close proximity right off the bat, and all
they got was something more like an immature, early, Matthew Tkachuk. Couldn't help it. Kidding.

Oh well, connect the dots and the team got one wee moment, at home, against the leaves. Right?

100%

Turning McCann+33 Overall into Tanner Pearson is not great asset management for a rebuilding team.

I only brought up McCann because the Dude is ready to tar and feather Dahlen. Fans like him eat up everything management says after they trade a guy. Vancouver managers over the last 40 years feel the need to sometimes trash a guy( especially the younger players)after he’s gone. All the way back to Milford and Neale through to Quinn and Burke and Gillis and now Elmer. The only guy I don’t remember doing this is Dave Nonis. It looks pretty classless.

McCann - “is a superstar. He’s on Team Canada! The Worlds FFS! To be rubbing shoulders with Tyler Bertuzzi, Adam Henrique, Matthieu Jossph, Kyle Turiris, Anthony Cirelli, Dylan Strome, Anthony Mantha, Darnell Nurse, Damon Severson, Troy Stecher, is a ringing endorsement to the special player that he is!. Foundational!”
