Seems like a good time to buy!Per wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 6:58 am Yup.
Also, in related news, investment funds specialising in Russian companies have been frozen on the Stockholm exchange. They opened up trading again yesterday and the value quickly adjusted to 0.5% of what it was prior to the attack on Ukraine, ie, if you had 100,000 invested in such a fund back in February, it's now worth a cool 500.

Re: bitcoin
The time to buy would have been when griz started this thread - making 'now' the time to sell.

I was referring to the Russian investment funds that are valued at 0.5% of their pre-war value!
I don't understand crypto so it's not for me.

Between my reading comprehension and having WAY too much shit going on this month..... errors in understanding simple concepts might get made.

Pride Month a busy time for keeping your shit together?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Re: bitcoin
Another major collapse in the Bitcoin world. This time Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX, the world’s third-largest cryptocurrency exchange, has gone bankrupt, along with the 30-year old crypto wunderkind's entire $15B net worth!
Basically, reports of financial malfeasance precipitated a run on FTX's currency (FTT), helped along by Chinese billionaire Changpeng Zhao' Binance, a major competitor, which held several billion of FTT and planned to dump it all.

Like any investment, timing is everything. If we went with griz's advice 5 years ago when it was about $3800, we could sell today at about $17,000, despite the recent drops.
